Pont Aven Brittany France Gauguin and others painted here

Lovely Pont-Aven France which is synonymous with Gauguin who lived and painted here despite the derision and hostility of the residents. Today’s residents are proud of the association and market his presence widely throughout the town. Hotel Restaurant Baudy in Monets Giverny France

A French lunch is sadly missed just now. Hotel Baudy which was of course a haunt of Monet and his friends is a very atmospheric venue for lunch.
